First introduced in 1983, Porter Yoshida's 'Tanker' series has become synonymous with the famous Tokyo based bag company. The 'Tanker' series used an original fabric developed in-house with the iconic MA-1 U.S. Air Force nylon jacket the basis for inspiration.Ā
Designed with practicality in mind, the Waist BagĀ from Porter Yoshida & Co features a large zipped main compartment, strap, and two smaller front facing snap button pockets to keep essentials within easy reach. Made in Japan from a highly durable nylon, the bag is lined with the rescue-orange shell inspired by the MA-1 jacket.Ā
