Pulled from the Jelado archive and crafted in Japan, this Reverse Weave Sweat Cardigan is made in collaboration with the esteemed 'The Riding High', a brand renowned for its dedication to 1950's-60's American sportswear. Known for their meticulous cut-and-sew work, they’ve helped recreate a sweatshirt that stays true to vintage form, with traditional manufacturing processes upheld. 

In 1938 Champion created the 'Reverse Weave' that was cut on the gross-grain, in order to prevent shrinkage and was quickly picked up by numerous sports teams throughout the US, becoming an icon of American Sportswear.

The Expedition Sweat Cardigan features this 'Reverse Weave', based on versions made in the 80's. Crafted in Japan from 100% cotton, sourced from the US, it features a stand collar, snap button front & two side hand warmer pockets.
