The distinctive camouflage pattern was originally developed in the United States for civilian hunting use. While never officially adopted by the U.S. military, it was reportedly considered for use. Notably, this pattern was worn by the Peruvian Special Forces unit Peruvian Paracaidistas during operations in Lima in 2007.
